Bob Hopper, Ph.D.
Author, speaker, educator, and the founder of Hopper Insurance Services.
More Than an Insurance Broker
Bob Hopper, Ph.D. is an author, a speaker, an educator, and a longtime leader in the insurance industry. He founded Hopper Insurance Services in Santa Barbara in 1996 with one goal: help individuals, families, and local businesses find the best values in health and life insurance coverage. That is still the goal today.
A practice built on teaching
Bob has worked across health, Medicare, and life insurance for decades. His deepest specialty is the health savings account. He did not simply sell HSA plans; he wrote the continuing education textbook that agents around the country still use to learn how they work.
That teaching habit runs through everything the agency does. Clients are walked through their choices until the choices make sense to them, and then they decide. It is the standard Bob set in 1996 and the standard the agency keeps today under President Connie Bermudez.
